In December 2022, one of my close friends, who happens to be one of the (two) best programmers I know, reached out to me with an idea: to create AI-powered tools for commercial artists that would be both innovative and ethical.
We spent many nights brainstorming ideas for cutting-edge artistic tools, despite the drastic LA/London time difference. What we came up with became Aphrite, a start-up company hoping to set a shining example of using AI to benefit creatives all around the globe.
Since then, the other best programmer I know joined our development team. Together, we built PoseSearch, a free tool that makes searching for character reference images faster than ever before.
